Hayden Panettiere Speaks with Us Mag About New Hair and New Man
January 27, 2010 by akkarajo
Us Magazine caught up with Hayden Panettiere to discuss the reasoning behind her recent hair color change and her taste in older men. Basically Hayden feels that hair color defines who you are or rather how others define you. She was sick of being judged as a ‘blond’ and expected to act that way. Her decision to go red is based on her spicy personality not her innocent one.
In an earlier post I commented on whether or not Hayden’s hair was hot or not. At first I thought she looked washed out but in the photo used in Us she looks quite stunning. Check it out here.
As for her love life, Hayden has been spotted with boxing champ Wladimir Klitschko who is 33. The older man syndrome appears to be a trend for Hayden because, well she likes older men. There is definitely nothing wrong with that.

Hayden Panittiere Replaced By Britney Spears as Candies Icon
January 26, 2010 by akkarajo
For awhile the beautiful Hayden Panittiere was the face for Kohl’s exclusive shoe brand Candies. Last year she was replaced by Britney Spears and will continue to be the Candies Icon through 2010. This is a surprise to me because Hayden is significantly better looking and in the ads it doesn’t even look like Britney Spears. It literally looks like the worst Photoshop job ever.
To see what I’m talking about go to this link here! It definitely is a stunt double because Ms. Spears was probably charging through the nose to be featured in their photos. Or it’s a bad editing job.
Regardless I’m sure many of you would agree that Hayden would be a better fit!

If you don’t remember her Candies ads check out this video clip of her during one of the photoshoots! Video after the jump.

Hayden Panettiere’s New Hair – Hot or Not?
January 25, 2010 by akkarajo
The lovely Hayden Panettiere not only has a new man but is sporting a new hair-do as well. Known for her lovely blond hair, the Heroes actress has decided to dye her hair a rich red-auburn. Personally, I do not think this look is flattering. It takes away from her fair complexion and washes her out. Maybe when she’s on the red carpet with a lot of makeup her hair will pop. However, in these images she definitely doesn’t look as good as she does with blond locks. Here’s a video revealing her new hair style.
What do you think of her new hair color? Is it Hot or Not?
Hayden Paniettere rings in the new year in Miami!
January 4, 2010 by Jane Boursaw
I’m sort of wishing I was Hayden Panettiere right now, but probably not for the reasons you think. I’m stuck here in snowy Michigan, while Hayden rang in the new year in sunny Miami.
You can catch her in the second half of season four of “Heroes,” which starts Monday, Jan. 4 (tomorrow!). Check out the info for the special two-hour episode (well, actually two one-hour eps one after the other).

‘Heroes’ returns Jan. 4
January 2, 2010 by Jane Boursaw
Are you still watching "Heroes"? I have to admit, I lapsed last year. The storylines were a little complicated for my addled brain, but it’s been such a good show in the past. I hope it regains some of its former glory and doesn’t fizzle out.
The show returns on Monday, Jan. 4, with a two-hour episode to kick off the second half of season four. Here’s the official synopsis from NBC for “Upon This Rock” and “Let It Bleed”:
As Claire (Hayden Panettiere) becomes immersed into the world of the Carnival, she becomes increasingly suspicious of Samuel’s (Robert Knepper) motives. Hiro (Masi Oka) is on a mission to rescue one of his own, but has difficulty communicating his intentions to Ando (James Kyson Lee).
Samuel has his sight set on Emma (guest star Deanne Bray) and her ability to complete his master plan. Meanwhile, Sylar (Zachary Quinto) returns to the Carnival in search of answers, and Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) continues to struggle with the loss of his brother (Adrian Pasdar).
Elsewhere, H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) sets his plan in motion to take down the carnival. Cristine Rose also stars, and guest stars include Todd Stashwick, Saemi Nakamura, Sasha Pieterse and Dawn Lyen Gardner.
Speak your mind! Are you still watching “Heroes,” and if so, what do you love about it?

Exclusive Interview: Hayden Panettiere talks ‘Heroes,’ paparazzi, and what matters most
January 1, 2010 by Jane Boursaw
I had the opportunity to interview Hayden Panettiere a couple of years ago, when “Heroes” was in its infancy and everyone was buzzing about “the cheerleader.”
She was really lovely to talk with – down to earth, open, and friendly. Best of all, she was happy to say hi to my then 10-year-old daughter!
Here’s the interview, which was published in the Nov/Dec issue of Latitudes, the inflight magazine of American Eagle.
_____________________________________
She’s known as “the cheerleader on Heroes,” but Hayden Panettiere could be your next- door neighbor. Oh, it’s not that she isn’t beautiful. She’s all that. But with her wholesome good looks and down-to-earth attitude, you’d never guess this rising star recently graced the cover of Entertainment Weekly.
“When I go to work and see our little sound stage and sets where we goof around, it’s hard to think that 15 million people are watching what we’re doing,” says the fresh-faced blonde, who recently turned 18.
Panettiere became a household name with her role as Claire Bennet on the hit NBC show, “Heroes.” A sassy cheerleader from Odessa, Texas, Claire discovers that she’s indestructible and can regenerate any part of her body. Jumping off a bridge? No problem. Waking up on an autopsy table with her insides, well, on the outside? No sweat.

Hayden Panettiere and Sly Stallone at the Lakers game
December 29, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
You can usually find a star or two at the Lakers games, and not even Christmas Day could keep them away from the best courtside seats.
Such was the case for Hayden Panettiere and Sylvester Stallone, who were all smiles as they connected at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles on Christmas Day.
Hopefully, that’s not as creepy as it sounds, since she’s 20 and he’s 63. I’m sure they were just making conversation! Check out the pic in the Daily Mail.

Calling all Hayden Panettiere fans!
December 24, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Hello, Hayden fans! I’ll be blogging here for the time being, and wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I also blog at Film Gecko, and I’m a staff writer at AOL Television and Moviefone, and an editor at TV Squad.
I’ve been following Hayden’s career since the beginning and look forward to blogging here and seeing what she does in the future. Of course, she continues her work on “Heroes,” and she also has a bunch of movies coming up, including “Hoodwinked, too! Hood vs. Evil.” She’ll be taking over the voice part of Red from Anne Hathaway.
Is there anything you’d like to see on this blog, in particular? Feel free to leave comments below. I look forward to hearing from you!

Get Hayden Panettiere’s Koolaburra Boots!
December 12, 2009 by Grace
I love it that Hayden Panettiere has staple outfits in her closet. It makes her like one of us… you know, that we wear our clothes over again. One of Hayden’s favorite thing to wear these days? Her new KOOLABURRA Fringe Boots!
And I found them at Amazon! I thought they would be exclusive at some high posh boutique, but they’re ours to buy too!
So check out these Koolaburra Unisex Single Fringe Short Boot,Chestnut,Men’s 8 M/Women’s 9 M exactly like Hayden’s. They’re a little pricey, but they’re made of authentic Australian sheepskin, and embellished by hand in the US, so they are worth the splurge!
The boots are unisex and come in different sizes for men and women, and you can choose between Kettle Black or Chestnut.
Hayden wears hers with jeans and casual tops, but I think the Koolaburra Boots are perfect for a funky holiday attire, like a tight black dress with oversized necklace. Wear the boots over patterned tights and you’re set to go!
