Hayden Panettiere kick-offs Barack Obama’s swearing in as US President at an environmentally-friendly pre-Inaugural celebration. Hayden went to the GREEN Inaugural Ball at the Andrew Mellon Auditorium in Washinton DC on January 17, 2009.

Here are first photos of Hayden Panettiere at the Ball. Hayden looks hopeful that change and hope for the environment will be coming to Washington DC. Hayden is deeply involved with caring for the planet, and her passion of saving whales has earned her awards (here and here) and attention from Congress. What an advocate Hayden is!
