Hayden Panettiere (Not) Dating Kevin Conolly

The rumors hit this week that Hayden Panettiere and “Entourage” star Kevin Conolly never left each other’s side at an Emmy awards afterparty on September 20.
Here’s what I read on Celebrity Gossip –
An eyewitness told press, “They were there to hang out together and stayed for hours until well after midnight. Kevin only left Hayden’s side towards the end of the night when he wanted to chat with someone at another table.”
But Hayden quashed the rumors when she spoke to JustJared at the Neutrogena event this weekend –
“I’ve known Kevin for so long,” Hayden told Just Jared. “You can’t have friends with the opposite sex. It’s so funny. We’re just friends.”
That’s right. Hayden and Kevin have known each other since way back in 2007, maybe even longer. Here they are, having lunch with friends at Caffe Primo in Septemer ‘07. And Hayden has attended “Entourage” premieres in the past three years, in support of her friend.
