Huh.
According to Wikipedia, Hayden’s middle name is Leslie. Hayden’s mother’s name is also Leslie. Meaning, Hayden’s mom named her after herself…I’m not so sure how I feel about that, really. Normally, it makes total sense, but Leslie is what I would call vicarious, living through Hayden’s fame in more ways than one.

about the Leslie middle name thing, its not that her mom is in love with herself so much that she named her kid that name, my middle namy is lynn, after my mom’s middle name, and HER mothers FIRST name. Its about family traditions too. dont be so judgemental.

You know, it’s doubtful that she named her thinking, “My daughter’s going to be a celebrity. Better get off to a good start so I can always be part of it.” The name likely has nothing to do with it, but I understand your point with the behavior.

Never trust Wikipedia. It’s almost always wrong. Though, I wouldn’t be surprised, Leslie is just like Dina Lohan. Living their life through their children.

Creepy. My middle name is Lesley (Leslie is the male version) and my birthday is also August 21st :p
